Preparing for Christmas!

A different kind of Year?

Many governments are still locking down places of worship and making it difficult for Christians, when pub, clubs, and shopping malls can be flooded with thousands of people? It reveals to us that in Britain and many other countries that our leaders are pagan in their idealism and hostile to the truth that points out their own failings!

Christmas and Easter are the large festivals for the Ekklesia, in relation to the birth of Jesus the Jewish Messiah and the Saviour of the world, while Eater marks that important death for the final atonement for sin and the promise through Jesus resurrection of eternal life.

We who preach, teach, witness and share have to be prepared well in advance for these holidays using traditional methods, but also allowing younger believers to use the latest in technology and the Internet?

Our mission field has expanded from the local community to the world and we must not be afraid, but rejoice in what God is doing in these last days!

Psalm 22:31, 71:17-18, Isaiah 3:9, 42:9, Matthew 10:7, Mark 16:15, Acts 26:23, Romans 4:17, Colossians 1:28, Titus 3:5, Hebrews 12:24, 1 John 1:5, Revelation 14:6.

Satan and the Devil. Three.

Halloween spooky Fun?

All Hallows is perhaps one of the most important lessons in the Church in relation to showing children and young people that the light of Jesus has victory over darkness, it also helps to show them good from wrong!

But the problem lays with us believers, since many today do not believe in the Devil, seeing him as a mythical or fun creature with hors, a tail between his leg and a pitch fork?

But we who have been attacked, who suffer intimidation, threats or many kinds from criminal gangs on estates, know better and really need to have a daily assurance from time to time that God is still there to hear us and help us!

Jesus came to save sinners, to save those in darkness, those in sexual deviancy, crime, prison and slavery, Halloween is a great opportunity not to be missed but used to cut crime and much more dishonesty in our community with village, stick or town!

Isaiah 42:7, 16, Matthew 6:13, Luke 1:79, John 8:12, 9:5, 12:46, 2 Thessalonians 3:13, 1 Peter 3:17, 2 Peter 1:19, Revelation 22:11.

Satan and the the Devil. Two

Job and Jesus, knew Suffering!

This comparison between two men and Satan is of great value to all believers who are suffering today, in hostile environments, bad neighbors, difficult Churches and religious persecution that involves violent attacks.

It is hard to be a follower of Jesus, it is hard to love and forgive at time those that seek you both physical and mental harm?

Job was innocent, but his friends did not comfort him but rather find ways to make him believe he had sinned. Jesus was insulted and attempts to trap Him with words was a daily toll, both men suffered pain and rejection but both made it through.

They show to us a way and an understanding more so Jesus of all that we have gone through, He too did for us. Job was rewarded for his faith with prosperity, Jesus with sitting on his Fathers throne and we who press on and win the crown Salvation Eternal!

Job 1:8-12, 20-22, 16:12, Isaiah 53:3, Mark 8:31, Ephesians 1:20, Hebrews 11:35-39.

Satan and the Devil. One.

Jesus said, I saw Satan fall from Heaven! Luke 10:18

Sadly today many believers do no longer believe in the Devil, let alone Satan and much is discounted as foolishness?

This comes in light of a massive crime wave, guns, knives and murders, terrorism, honor killings and wars all over the world! People seem to have been sanitized to the reality of what is happening around them and many live in the soap bubble of clever misinformation?

Jesus reveals to us a event that happened pre-creation and so the book of Revelation confirms past events such as a war in Heaven. We learn now the nature of our Lord incarnate and that before even we were made a great conflict was at work to cause the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden!

Satan has already been judged and He is defeated, yet He continues to harass humanity of whom He has control and attack believers hoping to win them back and disgrace the cross!

17th September 50 Years!

The Palestinian Authority?

Since King Hussein of Jordan in 1970 kicked out the Palestinians, who had tried to take over his Kingdom they have been on the west-bank of the Jordan river and in the Gaza strip causing havoc for Israel.

Despite the Oslo accords and the much promise of peace in the region, even when Yassa Arafat had 70% of the land, he refused it for more terrorism and allowed his people to be persecuted so he though he would gain more of something that was not his to gain?

Today a kind of history is to be made between the Arab world and Israel, through the U.S. as it has side-lined the uncooperative Palestinians! Meanwhile many younger Arabs do not want the nationalism and socialism of failed Middle-East policies, but progress in sciences and technologies they also no longer buy the victimisation of the lying corrupt authority that lines its own homes and buy weapons to attack innocent people, while claiming untruths?

Israel is for the Jews, the Holy Bible is clear on this matter and the many who discount this fact, probably even refuse to believe that Jesus is Jewish!

Isaiah 11:1-10, Matthew 4:23, 7:21, 19:28, Luke 22:30, Acts 1:6, Revelation 5:5, 7:4, 14:1-3, 21:12.

Apostle and Disciple Peter.

‘Don’t be Afraid Peter!

Jesus sums up Peter in that he was dominated by fear or himself and of others, from sinking on the water to the rooster crowing to being pulled up by Paul.

We see fear, we see zeal and weakness and we see hypocrisy a bit like us all who claim to be something that when challenged may fail to our own thorn that slows us down and that God will not remove?

It is hard to be a believer Jesus, as it was with Peter a great preacher after Pentecost that lead many to faith, the writer of two fantastic letters in the New Testament, a man that Jesus said Ekklesia would be built on and that does not mean Rome as some like to think.

Matthew 8:28, 16:18, Mark 14:72, John 21:15, Acts 2:38-40, Galatians 2:12, 1 Peter, 2 Peter.

Media Misinformation!

Christianity Blocked Off?

In some ways the whole world reports what their respective governments want us to here, rather than the whole truth! Perhaps what we have in the west is the freedom to debate and yet one is getting the feeling that this too is being controlled to a moderate or equal level that is not what it claims to be?

Fake news has come into the world vocabulary through a world leader that does not tell us much of any truth himself and the media circus loves it, as they love, Putin, N-Korea, Zimbabwe and now Belarus!

But the good news of Christian activity and the daily attacks world wide do not get reported in Christian countries, but to a select few radio stations, networks primarily in the U.S. and to newspapers and magazines!

The truth be told more Christians are suffering from Islamic inspired attacks in Europe, as in other parts of the world were it is expected?

Psalm 15:2, 25:5, 91:4, John 4:18, 8:32, Romans 2:8, 8:35, 16:25, 1 Corinthians 13:6, Ephesians 4:24, 1 Timothy 2:4, 6:5, 2 Timothy 4:4, 1 Peter 1:22, Revelation 7:14.

#blm! Part-Two.

Stereotyping?

Something that all of humanity has is the impression that if one does one thing terrible, all of that race colour and creed must be the same?

But we who think we are civilised are not, since we are better and not like the rest who is our estimation are not!

This is when we see the ugly side of comfort sin at work in our hearts to judge others, without seeing our own same situation? Jesus told the hypocrites to take the plank out of their own eyes before even attempting to remove the speck from others!

Black people want equality with white society, but this does not mean they are better than us? It just shows that we are all the same and hold very similar points of views one being Anti-Semitism and as much as some Arabs consider black people still to be semi-ape creatures only fir for abuse?

Humanity in its thinking has not changed, many of those black chiefs in West-Africa would still do the same as they did two-hundred years ago! While attitudes are not limited to colour barriers, basically we are all the same, but conditioning has caused more division’s.

Mark 7:3-5, Luke 6:41-42, Numbers 14:24, Philippians 4:5, Titus 3:2, 1 Peter 3:8.

Living in dire Times?

Our rights and our Ignorance!

Wherever we live in this world taking some simple advice in relation to this medical situation and Pandemic would be wise?

But we humans at the best of times live in rebellion to God and many believers too have the arrogant attitude that they can deal with things on their own, even when the best advice is given to us!

This situation that we are in is not going away as some unwise leaders believe, this is because of going on as we are will only spread the virus and eventually with its mutations children will start dying since so far it has not discriminated who it kills?

Believers need to remain focused in doing what is right and obeying the leadership of wise medical staff in relation to social distancing and wearing face coverings, other wise many more people will die in the second and third waves of this COVID-19 pandemic!

Geneses 41:33, Job 11:6, Psalm 51:6, Isaiah 47:10, Luke 7:35, Ephesians 2:2-3, Philippians 2:2-3, James 3:14, 2 Peter 3:15.

Mark 16! Part-Two.

Great Spiritual powers Displayed?

Many Christians today have grown dismissive of the impossible, of the power of healing and many other areas that seem to be very controversial when related to the work of the Holy Spirit within the believer!

Many are to comfortable in the Bible lesson preaching and not active in evangelism or sharing their faith, some of us have become lazy believing once we are saved we will just hang around in Church until Heaven?

These verses reveal the power of God at work in all believers who are open to serve Him and shows us that we are a protected people!

Yes we will suffer at times and be rejected by a hostile world that ridicules all that challenges its desire for sin and dishonesty, but in these last words in the gospel of Mark we are commissioned to go into community, work, family and share what God, what Jesus has and is and will be doing for us?

Mark 16:9-20, (17-18), Acts 28:3-5, 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28-30, James 3:8, Revelation 22:2.
