Pitfalls of Faith!

Roots of Bitterness?

None of us is exempt from falling from grace, hurt and disasters come and they will tear us down and lead to the tears of the heart, but we are warned not to let the bitterness of of it get a root on to us and if so we will loose our Salvation!

God does not give up on us, but it is rather we who do that for many reasons from comfort to dishonesty, that we think we are fine, when we are not?

The Holy Bible has much to tell us in relation to not being complacent and how to get back on track with our personal Savior the Lord Jesus!

Proverbs 14:10, Luke 8:13, Romans 11:16-18, 1 Timothy 6:10, Hebrews 12:15.

Original Confidence!

Staying the Course?

Not all who come to faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus stay the course, fear of man, tiredness, trials cost and burn out many that is why Jesus told us about the sower and the seeds in His Gospel parables!

But if we fail, we should repent and seek our Lords forgiveness, since our destiny is not a good destination and there is no return after death?

God wants us to be both wise and honest and press on knowing in whom we have believed and that He will never fail or leave us and we will make it home, one day to be with Him for evermore!

Proverbs 13:11-14, Malachi 4:1, Hebrews 3:12-15, Revelation 17:7.

Vanity?

What Satan thrives On!

The enemy will put us in a place of weakness and then He will attack us, this is very much so with the life of Job. But here we are also looking at our Lord, who was being tempted by Satan for Him to be worshiped, through the vanity of power and wealth!

We see that in times past even though people knew about God, they chose to ignore what was His to be honored and today many excuses are made for sin, that are not much different.

The western Ekklesia is dying for lack of preaching the Gospel, because leaders want to be comfortable and many in doing so excuse Sin claiming one thing and another and many fall away from their faith, if they ever were real believers in the first place?

Haggai 1:4, Matthew 4:8-9, 5:27, Mark 1:12-13, Romans 1:20-25, 2 Peter 2:10.

The out working of Sin!

Cain had a choice and so do we?

Jealousy set in to the heart of Cain against his brother Abel and it continues to this day, between nations and individuals even many who profess to know God, they allow their hearts to be darkened!

God warned Cain he had a choice and he went with Satan to oppose God and to kill, this past few days the former U.S. President nearly became a legacy for the United States when Mr, Crook was 2-inches form killing him?

Jesus is the answer, if we keep Him as the focus or source point of our lives and not choose to wander off is some false idea, doctrine, teaching or a;;ow anger to take control of us!

Genesis 4:6-7, Proverbs 14:29, John 3:3, 14-21, Romans 3:23, 6:23, 2 Corinthians 12:20, 1 Timothy 2:8, Hebrews 11:27, James 1:19-20.

Language Translations!

How many still to be translated for the Gospel?

It is amazing how many languages and dialects are in the world, when God cast out men from Babel and caused them confusion that was a big event, but it was restored in a way on the day of Pentecost, when the Disciples were speaking all in various languages!

Today with the advancement of A.I and the Internet many believers have access to resources that fifty years ago only missionaries working in far flung places could get?

Costings and what version of the Bible are the main issues to the lack of witnessing material and it is either old, badly put together and hard to access and this is perhaps the only problem we have in relation to time!

Geneses 10:5, 11:1, 7-9, Judges 12:5-6, Acts 2:7-12, 26:14, 1 Corinthians 14:11.

Psalm 104:4. Part-Two.

New Testament Hebrews 1:7.

We now have a cited text in the New Testament and in the Book of Hebrews written to Jewish believers either by the Apostle Peter or Paul and this important verse is mentioned!

We tend to associate fire with the Holy Spirit, but in relation to the Psalm a messenger of God, what is missing is that replacement theology has killed the full understanding of the Hebrews scriptural context and that nothing is lost or has changed in relation to flames of fire and the role of Angels in Heaven?

These worlds are for both the Jews and the Gentiles, who believe by the faith of Abraham in the death ans rising of our Lord and we must not make rules that do not apply, but rather enjoy the fullness of Gods words in the Holy Bible!

Psalm 104:4. Part-One.

Why are modern translations missing the King James Emphasis?

Modernism has a large role to play in undermining the original test as an alternative without giving the reasons as to why and thus the lay person is left confused!

But if an explanation in the foot note was given one would have a better understanding that the Hebrew, like the Greek has several meanings and thus we have a choice of them to use in preaching and teaching?

At the moment, the King James is becoming seen as archaic, yet despite the many modern versions of the Holy Bible, it remains the only one available to many around the world!

Prophecy?

Preaching to warn Ekklesia!

Not all always seems to be right in many fellowships when it comes to the services, the lack of preaching the Gospel message for over worship is one area that is lacking the influence of honesty and integrity in society?

The fervent preaching where it is done can become more of the man, rather that God and the balance is lost on the truth, and placed on personality?

We need to focus on the fact that it is the Lord that is leading us and not us leading ourselves?

2 Samuel 23:2, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2:1-3.

Understanding the Greek?

More than one Translation!

I think it is very important as a preacher teacher to have some grasp of the Greek, so that we can understand the many words from the various versions that are available for reading and study today?

Even if we are still limited to the King James or Revised Bibles, the Greek context is of great value, where as the Hebrew is quiet fixed even to the modern Israeli and so when comparing verses we will have a frame work built on a strong basis!

What Ekklesia faces today is deception and sensuality, the excuse to undermine the laws of God and to have truth expressed with love, rather one without the other!

2 Peter 2:1-3, Romans 16:18, 1 Corinthians 6;20, Galatians 2:4.

Easy and Hard?

Ways!

There are two ways to go in life so the Holy Bible tells us, the easy way to Hell and the narrow way to God!

Most people follow the broad way, even many who have made a confession, soon become inactive in fellowship and a bad example to many others?

But we are of the hard way, that costs and will hurt since we are sharing in some of the sufferings of our lord and our way is narrow and winding, but we are going up and not down even though it may feel that way at times!

Many are called few are chosen, those saved from much will do much, those from less, less will be done.

Psalm 16:11, Matthew 7:13-14, 18:8, Luke 13:24, John 14:6.
