Spiritual Warfare!

What is it?

For many believers it is not a experience, but rather an everyday occurrence in that we have the ability to challenge the worlds language, with the truth of Gods words!

We do not fight flesh with their weapons, but with our sword of the Holy Spirit, who is truth to a decaying world and society around us?

Suffering is part of this spiritual package, for we have to learn and be taught by Gods power how speak at the right time and not to be undone by their trickery and wilds!

John 3:3, 19, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, 1 Timothy 4:1-5.

The difference in Translations?

Modern bibles in light of the KJV+ Hebrews and Greek!

One recently discovered not only missing passages, but the wrong interpretation between two modern translations the NLT and ESV, were the mentioned passage did not fit with the original Greek and Hebrews text?

Thus this will cause a wrong interpretation of the text and it may even suit the introduction of false understanding to fit in with the modern life style of justifying sins!

This is nothing new, but it will be a shock to many who a serious in their study of Biblical languages and the importance of getting a clear message over preaching and teaching, if not witnessing too?

Now we have the introduction of the immerse bible which is replacing the Message to a newer Generation!

Romans 10:11, 2 Timothy 3:10, 16, 2 Peter 1:20.

What we signed up for?

Our agreement with God!

Many believers find after years of service that they get left behind by the next generation and we may at times feel why did struggle so much for?

In this last age of human history there has been some dramatic changes, motorised transport, the invention of television and now the Internet, Space travel, electric cars, hydrogen surpassing the burning of fossil fuels and nuclear power if not war?

We may have written our own tracts, preached and taught, while today people use apps, watch videos on their phones and tablets and share via the web, even with the continuing Pandemic ekklesia is moving in to virtual rather than physical!

What we need to do is accept and be glad that younger people are getting saved and that our experience of life may be of help to all who are struggling?

Matthew 20:9-11, Luke 15:31-32, Romans 3:23, 6:23.

Harvest Time!

From the window box to the plains?

When serving in the inner cities we tend not to see the point of having a harvest festival and yet many members have allotments, gardens, window boxes to sow a few fruit and vegetables so they can count the pennies?

On the other hand the countryside and the small ports have their respective catches of grains and fish and have something to give God the thanks for!

Not many today see a value of the harvest festival, since they associate it only with the material, but Jesus referred to the Spiritual side of all of our callings to witness our faith, share our testimony, speak and pray and then the Angels will reap fields that are white for souls for Eternity?

There are many ways to do these services, giving thanks, involving children, young people and older folks, talking about experience or just a plain service?

The use of the community is important in the role of the food bank and also in growing the wrong crops such as narcotics, showing people a right way and asking them to consider Jesus!

Genesis 8:22, Exodus 23:16, 2 Chronicles 32:28, Matthew 6:26, 13:30, Galatians 6:9, James 3:18.

Gifts of the Holy Spirit!

What are they for?

A great debate rages in the Ekklesia today in relation to the gifts of the Holy Spirit, with many claiming that that time in the book of acts is over?

But if we take time and end our doctrinal blind spots we will take note that in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 and verse 4 we are told the essential reason, before hitting the juicy bits!

Gifts, service and activity are the essentials of being touched at His will by the Holy Spirit, one who will remain active and effective in the lives of all believers who remain in fellowship with God.

We cannot preach, teach, witness, share, talk about God without the Holy Spirit, we have to be touched and given each individually our gifting, so that we may serve, so that we will remain active no matter what Satan tries to use to draw us down?

Romans 15:17, 2 Corinthians 9:12, Ephesians 4:12, 2 Timothy 4:5, Hebrews 12:28, James 2:22, Revelation 2:19.

The Prodigal Son! Two.

A picture of Youth?

Sins today consequences tomorrow, it may not be for all misspent youth but for some who inherit early it is a common factor to pain later on?

Here we are shown that young man who perhaps set off out into the world with good intentions, but the riotous living and the lights of the world caught up with him and he fell into those temptations we are told about and so he ends in a place of humiliation, with that final though of returning home!

Many people today have the opportunity to turn to God, they may even be considering Him and yet they refuse for a plethora of reasons not to come home to a loving Father and a heavenly home, but remain in the dross and muck of this world?

Luke 15:12-18, Job 21:13-15, Proverbs 6:26, Romans 13:13-14.

The continued Value of….

Preaching?

We tend in the west today to excuse the need to stand on a soap box and degrade our dignity on a street corner to tell dying society around us of the Good News of Jesus!

Christians have allowed the standards of the world to influence us and so in many places the faith is in decline? Some say it is different now with technology and the Internet, but one did not see much to qualify this during the pandemic in the British Isles so it is not true!

The world cannot see and does not want know, unless someone has the courage to speak and share Jesus and from this point to that of the pulpit, people need quality teaching and the altar call for people to believe that God loves them and gave to us His One and Only son, forgiving us of our pasts and promising to us the Eternal Life!

It is a simple message that needs to be got out and proclaimed by believers who will surrender all, not just the words of a hymn on a Sunday morning, but everyday?

Acts 2:26-31, 8:25, 14:6, 21, Romans 10:14, 1 Corinthians 15:1, 11, Galatians 4:13, Philippians 1:30, Colossians 1:23, 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 3:7, 15, 2 Peter 2:5, Revelation 1:9, 20:4.

The Interactive 2021.

Now we know that it is like to be a believer in a closed Nation?

Still many leaders are clinging to Church ideals that were established four hundred years ago, but this pandemic is proving that we have to change with the technology and the internet the Ekklesia is becoming more of an individual experience!

Meeting together in the years to come, may only be for limited reasons, the breaking of bread, baptism, marriages, child dedications and funerals?

This has been coming for some time, but traditionalism has ruled the day, the house Church movement was perhaps the first, while many Christian organizations are now online with devotional and daily readings, videos and other!

Matthew 18:20, John 4:23-24, Acts 2:42, 46, Hebrews 10:25, 1 John 4:6.
