Gifts of the Holy Spirit!

What are they for?

A great debate rages in the Ekklesia today in relation to the gifts of the Holy Spirit, with many claiming that that time in the book of acts is over?

But if we take time and end our doctrinal blind spots we will take note that in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 and verse 4 we are told the essential reason, before hitting the juicy bits!

Gifts, service and activity are the essentials of being touched at His will by the Holy Spirit, one who will remain active and effective in the lives of all believers who remain in fellowship with God.

We cannot preach, teach, witness, share, talk about God without the Holy Spirit, we have to be touched and given each individually our gifting, so that we may serve, so that we will remain active no matter what Satan tries to use to draw us down?

Romans 15:17, 2 Corinthians 9:12, Ephesians 4:12, 2 Timothy 4:5, Hebrews 12:28, James 2:22, Revelation 2:19.

The Kingdom of Israel?

Anti-Semitism in the Ekklesia!

We here this time are dealing with some serious facts when it comes to the Christian attitude to Israel being restored as a nation and a Kingdom!

Now for over eighteen hundred years the Gentiles have enjoyed keeping Jewish believers in their Messiah down and part from that justifying slavery, and many other ideals that are to suit their own agenda of oppression?

These ideas have crossed over from the Catholic Churches to the Protestant Reformations and today to the many new Churches, from the Apostolic revival to ecumenical ideas, community types and other revivals that have been overrun by false leadership?

Jesus did not give a time for that question asked 2000 years ago, because He said, ‘He said only the Father knew! We may not accept now that the state of Israel is that restoration, but when Israel is to be restored it will have to be in the same place that it exists now?

Acts 1:6-8.

The continued Value of….

Preaching?

We tend in the west today to excuse the need to stand on a soap box and degrade our dignity on a street corner to tell dying society around us of the Good News of Jesus!

Christians have allowed the standards of the world to influence us and so in many places the faith is in decline? Some say it is different now with technology and the Internet, but one did not see much to qualify this during the pandemic in the British Isles so it is not true!

The world cannot see and does not want know, unless someone has the courage to speak and share Jesus and from this point to that of the pulpit, people need quality teaching and the altar call for people to believe that God loves them and gave to us His One and Only son, forgiving us of our pasts and promising to us the Eternal Life!

It is a simple message that needs to be got out and proclaimed by believers who will surrender all, not just the words of a hymn on a Sunday morning, but everyday?

Acts 2:26-31, 8:25, 14:6, 21, Romans 10:14, 1 Corinthians 15:1, 11, Galatians 4:13, Philippians 1:30, Colossians 1:23, 1 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 3:7, 15, 2 Peter 2:5, Revelation 1:9, 20:4.

What is COVID-19?

What we think we know and what we have not been Told?

One finds the whole subject worrying in relation to deaths, infections, vaccines and testing, in that much does not work and is false, while the media hype the whole matter up and governments are failing the peoples or are they?

Christians must question and not stand back believing false information, we believe what we are told that it came from China, but the same media outlets tell us that Putin is Corrupt, Trump was mentally compromised and most of this is not true?

We really have been caught out with this virus and the consequences if not state control over the population! Is this 1984 in a world stage of self inflicted conflict and old people do die of old age 77 or 101?

Hospitals are full to capacity, but many private hospitals are empty and being on the inside figures are being fudged to save under financed state aid with the slogans that mean we will not be spending anymore money on our healthcare, stay at home!

Joshua 9:3-15, 2 Samuel 13:6-14, Psalm 52:3, Malachi 3:5, Matthew 24:11, 2 Corinthians 10:4, Colossians 2:4.

LOVE!

A controversial Subject in the modern Ekklesia?

We only have to turn on the radio or the Tv and we are met with love songs and programs aimed at the subject, perhaps songs are the most created side in relation to love? But the love of the world is more about a sexual encounter, rather than that of romance and marriage and the creation of family!

Today many Christians have accepted the doctrine of love to cover sin of a sexual deviant nature in relation to biblical teaching, but this also is leading many people away from the truth’s in relation to Hell and the crimson worm/maggots that never die eating our flesh?

Many leaders and Evangelists will have to answer before God in telling lies and falseness, perhaps to cover their own sin in that God loves us and we are saved and can live the way we want to but that is not the the truth?

Matthew 5:44, 10:37, 22:37, Luke 6:32, 10;12, Isaiah 66:24, 1 Peter 4:8, 1 John 4:10, 21, 2 John 1:16, Revelation 3:19, 22:15.

The Interactive 2021.

Now we know that it is like to be a believer in a closed Nation?

Still many leaders are clinging to Church ideals that were established four hundred years ago, but this pandemic is proving that we have to change with the technology and the internet the Ekklesia is becoming more of an individual experience!

Meeting together in the years to come, may only be for limited reasons, the breaking of bread, baptism, marriages, child dedications and funerals?

This has been coming for some time, but traditionalism has ruled the day, the house Church movement was perhaps the first, while many Christian organizations are now online with devotional and daily readings, videos and other!

Matthew 18:20, John 4:23-24, Acts 2:42, 46, Hebrews 10:25, 1 John 4:6.

Preparing for Christmas!

A different kind of Year?

Many governments are still locking down places of worship and making it difficult for Christians, when pub, clubs, and shopping malls can be flooded with thousands of people? It reveals to us that in Britain and many other countries that our leaders are pagan in their idealism and hostile to the truth that points out their own failings!

Christmas and Easter are the large festivals for the Ekklesia, in relation to the birth of Jesus the Jewish Messiah and the Saviour of the world, while Eater marks that important death for the final atonement for sin and the promise through Jesus resurrection of eternal life.

We who preach, teach, witness and share have to be prepared well in advance for these holidays using traditional methods, but also allowing younger believers to use the latest in technology and the Internet?

Our mission field has expanded from the local community to the world and we must not be afraid, but rejoice in what God is doing in these last days!

Psalm 22:31, 71:17-18, Isaiah 3:9, 42:9, Matthew 10:7, Mark 16:15, Acts 26:23, Romans 4:17, Colossians 1:28, Titus 3:5, Hebrews 12:24, 1 John 1:5, Revelation 14:6.

Media Misinformation!

Christianity Blocked Off?

In some ways the whole world reports what their respective governments want us to here, rather than the whole truth! Perhaps what we have in the west is the freedom to debate and yet one is getting the feeling that this too is being controlled to a moderate or equal level that is not what it claims to be?

Fake news has come into the world vocabulary through a world leader that does not tell us much of any truth himself and the media circus loves it, as they love, Putin, N-Korea, Zimbabwe and now Belarus!

But the good news of Christian activity and the daily attacks world wide do not get reported in Christian countries, but to a select few radio stations, networks primarily in the U.S. and to newspapers and magazines!

The truth be told more Christians are suffering from Islamic inspired attacks in Europe, as in other parts of the world were it is expected?

Psalm 15:2, 25:5, 91:4, John 4:18, 8:32, Romans 2:8, 8:35, 16:25, 1 Corinthians 13:6, Ephesians 4:24, 1 Timothy 2:4, 6:5, 2 Timothy 4:4, 1 Peter 1:22, Revelation 7:14.

Mark 16! Part-Two.

Great Spiritual powers Displayed?

Many Christians today have grown dismissive of the impossible, of the power of healing and many other areas that seem to be very controversial when related to the work of the Holy Spirit within the believer!

Many are to comfortable in the Bible lesson preaching and not active in evangelism or sharing their faith, some of us have become lazy believing once we are saved we will just hang around in Church until Heaven?

These verses reveal the power of God at work in all believers who are open to serve Him and shows us that we are a protected people!

Yes we will suffer at times and be rejected by a hostile world that ridicules all that challenges its desire for sin and dishonesty, but in these last words in the gospel of Mark we are commissioned to go into community, work, family and share what God, what Jesus has and is and will be doing for us?

Mark 16:9-20, (17-18), Acts 28:3-5, 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28-30, James 3:8, Revelation 22:2.

Terror-ism!

Freedom fighters today, politicians Tomorrow?

King David was described by the society of his day as a baga bond, who was followed by criminals and yet he became Israel’s greatest King, up to the revelation of Jesus the Messiah!

Many world leaders were once terrorist come good, but one has to wonder about the accountability of Yassa Arafat, Martin Mcguiness and many others in relation to their past activities that lead to the murder of civilians?

The concept of this type of war is to frighten the unsuspecting and to maintain that fear into eventual submission, but it does not always work depending on the targeting of military/police or economic assets!

Governments only start to talk when its costing them big time and this was proved by the IRA and their targeting of London’s financial hub, but today we are dealing with religious fanaticism over events in the Middle-East, Libya, Israel, Palestine, Syria and Afghanistan?
