The value of Preaching? One.

Has the Gospel any real value Today!

What a strange statement to make, but is it not true when every command in relation to sexual sin, except that of abusing children is ignored by most people who claim a faith in God?

But we have a faith in Jesus that is based on being born-again of the power of the Holy Spirit and we know God as our Father more personal than an idea of Him or an entity!

The message of the Gospel is as relevant today as it was nineteen-hundred years ago, because without it people will be lost to the eternal separation from the light of God and burn in the fires of hell!

We wonder what is wrong with our society, why narcotics, why knife and gun crime, but what we fail to recognise is if we deliberately excuse one sin then all of them can be excused by the world who have no knowledge of the truth?

Revelation 14:6,   Mark 9:44-49,   Romans 6: 7-9,   11-12,   Ephesians 3:9-11,   Colossians 1:23.

The Resurrection of Jesus!

Sometimes not fully Understood?

We like to think that all believers understand the fulness of the Easter message as we who have to teach and share it? But many just go along with it as part of the ‘Churchy experience,’ but they do not really believe that it was possible!

It is strange but it is easier to believe that someone, Jesus would die for us to make that final atonement for sin taking our failure on Himself, but at the same time refusing to understand the fulness of what the resurrection means in relation to conquering death and allowing us to enter into the New Life?

More emphasis on this is needed today, so that believers will once more be effective in sharing their faith and not afraid of losing it if attacked by the world? Being active remains an essential of being Born-Again, slackness is the work of the enemy to make the Gospel of Jesus ineffective and our witness non-existent?

Zephaniah 3:8,   Acts 2:31,   Romans 6:5,   Philippians 3:10,   Hebrews 6:2,   1 Peter 1:3.

Bearing the Name!

CHRISTIAN?

Are you afraid of the lions?

What a strange question to ask a believer in the death and resurrection of Jesus, who is our Lord and saviour?

Our redeemer and the one who is returning one day to gather us His Ekklesia to be taken up with Him!

Yesterday the media reported that two-hundred and fifty Christians are killed world wide each month, probably most of them are real believers over that of carrying the name tag that other religions have?

Today in our ever secular society believers are being attacked for believing the teachings of the Bible, which oppose many issues, moral, sexual and our integrity in business, leadership or management!

But many others in leadership are refusing to make a stand for the truth, because they fear these new lions!

Acts 5:41,   11:26,    26:28,    1 Peter 4:16.

Jesus’ Return! Two.

The falling Away?

There are many different ideas in relation to the interpretation of the book of Revelation and much of it has to do with the influences of replacement theology, if believers would see Israel’s role in this then perhaps we would have some clarity?

But this will not happen with these influences and so we can only gain a limited picture of some of the essential truths, such as the great falling away of believers from the truth!

We are living in these times now, where the doctrine of love has been manipulated to run contradictory to the word of God! It is justifying lust, sexual immorality, dishonesty and the breakdown of the family!

It has been a gradual process taking place in the western-Church over the last one-hundred and fifty years, but what has come to the fore in the last seventy years is the growing hostility based on mans ideas of equality in relation to Israel.

Jeremiah 2:13,   2 Thessalonians 2:3,  1 Corinthians 6:9,  1 Timothy 4:1-3,   2 Timothy 3:1-3,   4:3-4.  John 17:12,

Carnivals?

Notting Hill, Reading, Glastonbury!

The justification of sin or just having a good time?

Cultures are different, something that should be considered by all believers in the statement made by the Gospel of John’ For God so loved the World! Controversial  because it addresses humanities failure on race and so to Ekklesia that carries the un-repented problem of being in the community of all the same?

We can claim that next weekend will see a rise in crime in W-London with the annual west-Indian/Caribbean street party and much will be reported and addressed in relation to all the negatives of it?

But neither Glastonbury or Reading will receive the same fare reporting of its drug abuse and violent cultures and this is because it will be majority white and civilised over that of black and dark skinned?

Genesis 6:5,  1 Kings 8:39,   Job 21:27,   Psalm 7:9,  19:14,  139:2,   Isaiah 55:8,   Jeremiah 11:20,   Amos 4:13,   Luke 2:35,   Acts 1:24,   Philippians 2:2,  Hebrews 4:12.

How we do outreach/reach out?

Lack of Witness!

There is a serious decline today in preaching and teaching the biblical message to the lost in society, their seems to have been a change were the Church is now more aligned with the world than it is with God and the Holy Bible?

Perhaps the main cause for this change is the fear of persecution or having to give up the panelled homes of the clergy who life the life of Riley at the cost of their faith!

But many believers continue to share their faith with others, even not compromising on homosexuality but warning of the consequences of unrepentance and change that is required by God when entering into the New Life!

Out-reach-out remains one of the most important forms of witness for believers and Gods Ekklesia, it reveals to the community who and what we are and how we should care for the people around us instead of ourselves and hoping that God-Jesus will do the hard work for us?

Matthew 3:3,  7:2,  18:14,  Luke 7:22,   John 14:6,   Acts 9:31,   Romans 1:17,   1 Corinthians 12:2,   Ephesians 2:20,   Colossians 4:5.
