Why no longer Popular?

Over the last forty years it seems that the book of Revelation is not as popular as it was say in the 1950’s?

One reason may be that it is difficult to understand or it is not relevant to the problems in the modern age?

The other reason is perhaps it warns those of us who claim a faith in God, but live in rebellious sin? Revelation does tell us the fate of liars, those doing dishonest gain and living in effeminate lifestyles!
