The missing Piece!

To the Christmas Story?

Many believers find it hard to place Jesus circumcision in the account, because they fail to understand that Jesus also came to fulfill the Law of God and to prove that he was a total complete Jew!

We are now living iin wicked times once more with the rise of antisemitism and misguided hatred of the Jews, because of the situation in the Gaza strip and Muslim lies many are deluded in to humanitarianism and not faith!

We cannot afford to leave out the bits of the Christmas story that may upset us due to doctrine, hatred of the Jews and replacement theology, because we undermine the teaching of our own salvation?

Luke 2:22-24, Romans 3:21-32, Hebrews 4:12-13, 9:25-28, 10:10,15, 20, 26, Revelation 3:20.

Why did He Come!

What is the purpose of His Coming?

First He was the promised Messiah to the Jewish race and the nation of Israel, but later we see them rejecting Him at the cross and the resurrection!

Jesus also came to be the Savior of the Gentiles, so that they could be drafted in to the commonwealth of Israel, while the Jewish people have been blinded generally, but some will still get saved before the day of God;s coming destruction?

He came to fulfill the promises of God to Israel and to the world and this is all of the real meaning behind the events of the Christmas story, so now we have to add this into the message we may be sharing this season, with a dying world all around, offering to them truth and Hope!

Hosea 3:3-4, John 1:1-18, 2 Corinthians 3:14-16.

Who is Jesus!

Who is He really?

Do we really think that God has rejected Israel for the rights of the Palestinians or do we accept that He is the King of Israel as well as the Savior of the world!

Are we mixing politics with religion and humanism over faith or are we just hating God, through hating His race and being pretend Christians?

This is the image that many are seeing in believers today, that we justify sin and that we are for things that do not exist, so many are turning to religion with rules like Islam!

So we are left with this one passage in Luke 1:68-79.

CHRISTMAS!

The Virgin Birth of Jesus?

The most disputed passage in the Holy Bible by a lost world, that refuses to believe in the impossible of God the creator and they are determined to undermine the truth for some sordid version of their own corrupted minds!

Many in western society today dismiss the account as another fairy story or a cover up for the above mentioned, without being able to accept the truth of a loving God, who gave to us His one and only son, so that by faith in Him we might be saved?

Ekklesia has had a problem, since the introduction of the Christmas tree and today the manger is covered up by gnomes and tat and many refuse to speak up for the fear of being attacked, but they expect they will be covered by the sufferings of others in other lands?

Isaiah 7:14, 9:6-7, Matthew 1:20, Luke 1:68-72, John 1:1-5, 3:3, 14-21, Hebrews 9:25-28.

Our need of Salvation?

The Christmas Message!

For our lost world, both physically and Spiritually, for some of us this is the season of ekklesia unity and family, for others ministering it is the poor, the food banks, the lonely and the older folks?

We may all still like to send cards, give presents and celebrate with tradition thrown in, but the world has commercialized the season to cancel the message that Jesus, the God-Man came into our world two thousand years ago to save sinners and bring salvation to all who would have faith in Him!

We are entrusted with a message that remains today as fresh as it did them and our time is running out as the night of the apocalyptic era is approaching!!

Acts 13:23, 32-33, Psalm 2:7, 132:11, Hebrews 9:25-28, 10:10.

‘Our Conduct!

What is expected of Us?

It is so easy to say we are all sinners, and this means that God will forgive us if we deliberately sin!

But this is not correct, because we have allowed evil to dominate us and not trust in God, The Holy Bible gives to us all that we need to keep walking and following our Lord and now that the Christmas and New Year is upon us, we need to be seen.

Romans 12:17-21, Hebrews 13:4-5.

The message of Jesus birth is simple and we need to get it out into a more and more commercial world that is replacing truth with lies, so that we will see souls saved?

Luke 1:47, 2:11, John 1:1-5, Acts 5:31, 13:23.

Christmas!

The real meaning of?

We all know the events of the Christmas story and how we can cross reference the Gospels with the book of Isaiah and other to fit the traditional picture of it, but so much can be missed out in the leaving out of certain passages.

Most of western-Christmas is associated with the Catholic Church and the Protestants have taken out the bits that they do not like in relation to doctrine, while the eastern Church celebrates more the iconography of the saints than scriptures?

But we want too look at the message of Salvation through Jesus and why He came into our world to save sinners like you and me!

Numbers 24:17, Isaiah 9:2, Luke 1:76-79, 2:8-15, 30-32, John 8:12.

The message we tend to Forget?

After the big rush of Easter.

These three verses are more associated with Christmas and the birth of the Jewish Messiah Jesus, they are hardly mentioned even in passing to the whole picture of the story, mostly because of the fulfilment of Jewish law of both prophetic revelation and Jesus circumcision on the eight day?

But this week we want to keep in focus the light to the Gentiles and the Light of Jesus that is constantly shining out into our dead world, that will bring hope to all in despair from conflicts, wars and social-economic woes, since God will meet with us where and what ever circumstances we may find ourselves in!

Luke 2:29-32, Psalm 98:2, John 8:12, Acts13:47,26:23.

Christmas Approaches!

A really busy time for Ekklesia?

Each one of us has the challenge of pulling something new out of the story that by tradition seems to be fixed and at that it in its own right is a tremendous one, but there are many part to it that can be added depending on who one is preaching too?

When we look at this story we are seeing the fulfilment of Jewish history and we know that in that brief time of some thirty four years, his own people rejected Him, but since thirty three AD the way and the Ekklesia just keeps on growing and spreading out and now we live in an age that allows us to see it recovering older areas that have died lack to keep sharing Jesus?

Christmas is also a time when we see the dregs of society, the self-opinionated and the good people come to fellowship with us for plethora of reasons, sometimes guilt, other memory of childhood, others just like the atmosphere without the reality and others still in despair of life?

Numbers 24:17, Matthew 2:2, 9-10, 2 Peter 1:19.

Stephen!

The cost for loving Jesus?

Most of us will never have to face death for our faith in God, but many do around the world and more so during Christmas and Easter from deceived and sick people who fail to grasp the truth even about their own religions or atheism!

Many of us do face some form of intimidation, insult and attack from the world daily and it is hard at times to love these idiotic nasty people?

We can be attacked even in fellowship by our so called brothers and sisters, out of spite and jealousy, arguments boil over nothing and can lead to bitter roots something we are warned not to allow in our selves!

Stephen loved Jesus and spoke truth’s that the world could not excuse or hide from, very much as the religious men of Israel denied their Messiah, because He did not meet their standard!

This is a warning to us, that we have to try to reach His standards, knowing that we will fail and that love is one of many elements that make up the character of the Godhead under grace?

Acts 7:1-8:1, Romans 3:25, 2 Corinthians 2:7, Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13, 1 John 1:9.

We hope that you can enjoy the Christmas season, even if you are isolated and that you will have a peaceful New Year?
