Vanity?

What Satan thrives On!

The enemy will put us in a place of weakness and then He will attack us, this is very much so with the life of Job. But here we are also looking at our Lord, who was being tempted by Satan for Him to be worshiped, through the vanity of power and wealth!

We see that in times past even though people knew about God, they chose to ignore what was His to be honored and today many excuses are made for sin, that are not much different.

The western Ekklesia is dying for lack of preaching the Gospel, because leaders want to be comfortable and many in doing so excuse Sin claiming one thing and another and many fall away from their faith, if they ever were real believers in the first place?

Haggai 1:4, Matthew 4:8-9, 5:27, Mark 1:12-13, Romans 1:20-25, 2 Peter 2:10.

The out working of Sin!

Cain had a choice and so do we?

Jealousy set in to the heart of Cain against his brother Abel and it continues to this day, between nations and individuals even many who profess to know God, they allow their hearts to be darkened!

God warned Cain he had a choice and he went with Satan to oppose God and to kill, this past few days the former U.S. President nearly became a legacy for the United States when Mr, Crook was 2-inches form killing him?

Jesus is the answer, if we keep Him as the focus or source point of our lives and not choose to wander off is some false idea, doctrine, teaching or a;;ow anger to take control of us!

Genesis 4:6-7, Proverbs 14:29, John 3:3, 14-21, Romans 3:23, 6:23, 2 Corinthians 12:20, 1 Timothy 2:8, Hebrews 11:27, James 1:19-20.

Prophecy?

Preaching to warn Ekklesia!

Not all always seems to be right in many fellowships when it comes to the services, the lack of preaching the Gospel message for over worship is one area that is lacking the influence of honesty and integrity in society?

The fervent preaching where it is done can become more of the man, rather that God and the balance is lost on the truth, and placed on personality?

We need to focus on the fact that it is the Lord that is leading us and not us leading ourselves?

2 Samuel 23:2, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2:1-3.

Easy and Hard?

Ways!

There are two ways to go in life so the Holy Bible tells us, the easy way to Hell and the narrow way to God!

Most people follow the broad way, even many who have made a confession, soon become inactive in fellowship and a bad example to many others?

But we are of the hard way, that costs and will hurt since we are sharing in some of the sufferings of our lord and our way is narrow and winding, but we are going up and not down even though it may feel that way at times!

Many are called few are chosen, those saved from much will do much, those from less, less will be done.

Psalm 16:11, Matthew 7:13-14, 18:8, Luke 13:24, John 14:6.

EASTER!

This year it is split into Three.

One has passed, the Jewish Passover is to come and the Eastern orthodox will be still much later this year, but the message is still relevant and many people are seeing the growth of Islamic influences more so in Europe and they now fear that Christians will be left behind with the many secular changes in laws and the taking away or watering down on the emphasis of Easter?

We as believers know the story well of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus but there is one area that one has never noticed being covered in the events of Good Friday and that is the darkness that fell over Jerusalem and Israel as Jesus hung dying on the cross for all human failures!

Matthew 27:45, Mark 15:33, Luke 23:44, John 3:19, 8:12, 12:35, Acts 26:18, 2 Corinthians 4:6.

When we come away at the end after Jesus death a Roman soldier believed and how many were to follow on that day alone and still do to this day?

Roman doctrine in Ekklesia!

The Love of God?

Its a subtle doctrine that most believers have grasped on to in relation to accepting sexual sins and then believing that a all loving God will ignore those issues of our selfishness, prior to this we had the issues of dishonesty when many believed they could get away with diddling their tax forms and other financial dishonesty!

God is love, He loved us to give to us His one and only Son, that we might be saved, we love Him because He has had mercy on us for our failings!

But God does not love sin, he will not tolerate His guidelines being broken and the selfishness of the human heart trying to justify sin.

Leviticus 18:22, John 3:16, Romans 1:25-26, Romans 3:22-23, 6:22-23, Hebrews 9:26, 10:10, 1 John 3:18, 2 John 1:3.

Happy New Year 2024!

Jesus and the Law?

Many unwise believers today think that God has given up on His law and its application in our lives, but as we who have a personal faith should know that He has not and the Law of God is eternal!

Yes we are free from the curses of breaking the Law and its punishment, because Jesus fulfilled this for us on the cross and His rising from the dead!

But the law is still not to be abused or ignored and the ten Commandments are part of the 613 laws that cover all area of our lives, they are not archaic as some believe, because of where we might live in the world and we are advised to obey them in our relationship with Jesus, while also pointing them out to both Kosmon and to Ekklesia?

Exodus 20:1-17, Leviticus 19:22, Matthew 19:17-19, 1 John 4:7-21.

The cost of Faith!

Bearing Witness?

All believers will be challenged about our faith in Jesus, about truth, honesty and integrity and we have both a testimony and a knowledge of God and what He is doing for us!

When we think of Stephen the first martyr of the Ekklesia, we see a man who could not be out done and so out of spite and jealousy free slaves handed him over to the religious men of the day to have him stoned to death.

Many believers around the world today are being murdered for the name of Jesus, wither they practice or not, they bear the name Christian and Islam is one of the most hostile followed by all atheism nations who make excuses for truths they cannot bear to hear?

Matthew 10:15, Mark 13:9, Luke 21:13, John 15:26, Revelation 6:9-11.

Christmas!

The real meaning of?

We all know the events of the Christmas story and how we can cross reference the Gospels with the book of Isaiah and other to fit the traditional picture of it, but so much can be missed out in the leaving out of certain passages.

Most of western-Christmas is associated with the Catholic Church and the Protestants have taken out the bits that they do not like in relation to doctrine, while the eastern Church celebrates more the iconography of the saints than scriptures?

But we want too look at the message of Salvation through Jesus and why He came into our world to save sinners like you and me!

Numbers 24:17, Isaiah 9:2, Luke 1:76-79, 2:8-15, 30-32, John 8:12.

The book of Revelation?

A mirror to the soul re-exploitation!

Replacement theology has lead many believers to discount the teaching of the book of Revelation as having no practical application in our modern world, but sometimes it is referred too in relation to End time events and the return of our Lord Jesus?

Otherwise the key elements of the salvation of Israel and the underlying secret slavery in society is avoided, it is a mirror of guilt in relation to service, servitude and cheap workers for clothing, medical care and a under payed work force and former imperial slavery and the lack of compensations to the survivors?

God is the only one who really knows our hearts, we may be serving Him in good faith, while hiding the secrets of prostitution, dishonesty, tax evasion and corruption, secret societies and much more!

John 9:41, Titus 3:3, Hebrews 4:13-14, 2 Peter 2:19, Revelation 7:1-8, 18:13.
