Jehovah or Yahweh!

The right name for God?

There is an element of ignorance in translation work today, when the King James Bible, still has a place as probably the best ever and we are marking five hundred years since William Tyndale did this complete Bible in English!

But as to the present time with the restoration of Israel as a nation, many new believers want the New Testament back in Hebrew and not English, which they claim has denied Judaism and one has to agree with this from two stand points of replacement theology and also the mistranslation of the name of God?

In the Hebrew there is no letter J and we clash with words in relation to Yahweh and Elohim, Yahweh in its original has no points, thus we have YHWH and with Elohim we have a word that means two Father and Son, or God and Lord!

So on the initial conclusion what is the problem, one thinks it is just another form of antisemitism from the Calvinistic community to get back at the Jews?

Genesis 1:1, Exodus 3:14, Luke 24:35, Romans 15:4, 2 Peter 3:16.

Anomia!

The Greek word with two meanings?

In the first passage in the New Testament we have it used to mean unrighteousness 2 Corinthians 6:14. Strongs G458.

While in 1 John 3:4 it is translated as Transgression Strongs G458.

So why is this so, since in the Hebrew two different words are used in relation to the New Testament, being Chamas (Khamas) Strongs H2555 and Aber (Aver) H5674,

So we have to ask did the English translators of both the Wycliffe and the Tyndale get it so wrong or does it really matter?

Language Translations!

How many still to be translated for the Gospel?

It is amazing how many languages and dialects are in the world, when God cast out men from Babel and caused them confusion that was a big event, but it was restored in a way on the day of Pentecost, when the Disciples were speaking all in various languages!

Today with the advancement of A.I and the Internet many believers have access to resources that fifty years ago only missionaries working in far flung places could get?

Costings and what version of the Bible are the main issues to the lack of witnessing material and it is either old, badly put together and hard to access and this is perhaps the only problem we have in relation to time!

Geneses 10:5, 11:1, 7-9, Judges 12:5-6, Acts 2:7-12, 26:14, 1 Corinthians 14:11.

1 Timothy 3:16. Part-One.

Not in every Translation?

Some have suggested this is a later add on to the original letter, but we could all be accused of making a footnote to our own letters of encouragement to others!

It is a powerful verse in the New Testament about Jesus our Lord and Savior!

Christ/Messiah came as a human or in human flesh!

The Holy Spirit proved that He pleased God!

He was seen by Angels!

Christ/Messiah was preached to the Nations!

People put their faith in Him!

And He was taken up in Glory!

What is the problem, a miss translation, replacement theology, or down right anti-Semitism in the early Church to Armenian, Roman Catholic and others?

Deuteronomy 31:23, 1 Chronicles 22:13, Psalm 42:2, Jeremiah 10:10, Acts 1:2, Hebrews 3:2-6.

Why are some verses Missing?

Even the KJV has it wrong when it comes to the Greek!

Our test is a series of passages found in the New Testament of the four Gospels in relation to an End time event in one being left behind. Many books and films have been made over the years for Christians in relation to the matter that is scary even for us believers?

In Luke 17:35-37, some modern translations have no verse 36 and this would correspond to the Greek text!

One did wonder why, but one reading it a couple of times, two illustrations are used for the same event one for men and the other for woman! This may upset many, but the truth is that the writer here was coming from a Jewish-Hebrew perspective and translating into Greek.

Matthew 24:23-41 (40-41), Mark 13:32-37.
