Pentecost!

A gap between the Jews and the Gentiles?

Most believers just accept that the Holy Spirit was poured out on all in Jerusalem, ten days after Jesus ascended into Heaven!

But when we read the book of Acts we will discover that this is not true and there is a substantial gap, letting us know that it was the believing Jews who first received and then much later the Gentiles through the work of the Apostle Peter.

This theme runs right through the New Testament in Revelation the tribulation will come to the Jews first, then to the rest of the world.

Acts 2:1-6, 10:44-46. 11:1.

Caught Up!

What we are all waiting For?

The events of the return of our Lord Jesus can be confusing, when we start to look into the details of these events leading to three points of view!

But one here is not going there, but is rather focusing on being zapped up by the power of God to meet His son in the air. We have many verses that tell us much more about this great event and they also reveal it will be like a thief in the night, but we believers will hear the final trumpet call, we will see the clouds of glory coming and the dead will rise before us!

It is the religious and the dead who will be in great fear and shock on that day or night, because loved ones will be gone?
